Objective:
In order to increase quality and quantity of seed production, to establish
genetic seed orchards (1.5 generation seed orchards) by determining breeding
values of plus trees.
Activities:
Cones were collected from 280 plus trees and seeds were sown for the progeny
trial to be established in 2001.
